The SIMPSON APB66DSP 6" X 6" POST BASE is a heavy-duty post base designed for connecting a 6x6 post to a concrete or masonry foundation.The base features a built-in stand-off plate that elevates the post above the surface to prevent moisture from being trapped against the wood, which can lead to rot and decay.

The base also has a black powder-coated finish that provides additional protection against the elements. The APB66DSP base can be secured to the foundation using wedge anchors or other appropriate hardware (not included), and it is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including decks, fences, and pergolas.

Outdoor Accents gable plates add decorative appeal and strength to any outdoor living space. They provide reinforcement for a connection from a wood beam to three angled wood braces. Three sizes are available: 6:12 pitch, 8:12 pitch and 12:12 pitch.
