ActionsThe standard block, also known as a "straight" is used in the straight areas of the ICF wall construction.
By off-setting the seams of each 4' long block, a stronger, more secure wall is created. The Straight Block typically makes up 85% of the ICF wall assembly on most residential and commercial jobs. With 2 layers of Type II EPS molded with our patented internal webs, these light-weight blocks assemble with ease, creating a finished wall that is ready for concrete.
The webs or ties that create the structure of the Advantage Standard block are molded in during the manufacturing process. The edge of each web sits just 3/8andrdquo; in from the outside of each block and provides a sturdy surface for finishes and attachments. Molded right into the webs are rebar saddles that hold the horizontal rebar in place without the use of ties or wires.
Each 6" Standard block is 16.5" high, 48" long, with a total overall thickness of 11.25".
The Advantage ICF System conforms to CAN/ULC-S701-01 Type 2, CCMC Evaluation Report 13101-R.
The Advantage ICF System Brick Ledge Block features a continuous uninterrupted concrete ledge.
When brick ledge blocks are included in any ICF system horizontal steel reinforcement and stirrups are required in the concrete ledge portion to support loads.
The Advantage ICF Brick Ledge Block features a web unique to the ICF industry that is molded into the EPS panel that forms the brick ledge.
Attachment surfaces on internal webs within the EPS panel are consistent to the top of the ledge for easier fastening of required exterior finish materials to, a benefit only provided by the Advantage ICF Brick Ledge Block.
The taper top block is shaped to provide a wider concrete surface at the top of the block.
This allows for a wider load bearing surface at the top of the ICF wall.
The 6" standard block height adjuster provides the same great benefits of the standard height blocks, however the height adjusters allow for varying heights of the walls without all the additional cutting and adjustments on site.
These pre-made blocks simply drop in place and create the variations in the wall you require.
The 90 degree corner block typically makes up 10-15% of the Advantage ICF wall assembly on residential and commercial projects.
Each corner block has 5 webs or ties that are molded into the block design for a strong, easy to install corner.
With one side longer than the other, there are "right and left" corners. On a 6" Advantage ICF corner, one side is 32 inches long, and the other side is 16 inches long.
As you stack the block in what is known as "courses," you alternate your corners back and forth. This gives you the offset seam needed to create a strong wall.
The 6 inch 45 degree corner block allows you design freedom to create unique angles in your ICF walls. You can create both inside and outside angles to fit the design of your foundation or walls.
These angle blocks make up an average of 1-5% of the Advantage ICF wall assemblies in residential and commercial construction. With 5 specially designed webs molded into the EPS block, these 16.5 inch high ICFs provide strong, secure angles.
Using the Advantage patented interlock system the blocks are secured together in each course creating the angled wall that aligns with the straight blocks in the surrounding assembly.
The 45 Degree Angle Block typically makes up 1-5% of the ICF wall assembly on most residential andamp; commercial jobs.
This block has five (5) strong full length injection molded plastic ties made from Polypropylene (PP)regrind resin that are well marked with the word "Fox Blocks" located on both sides of the block.
The 7/32" thick x 1-1/2" wide corner bracket was engineered to add more strength/support to the block by reinforcing the corner once the wall is built to eliminate blow-outs during the concrete pour.
The bracket has a marketed exterior fastening surface that is very large on both sides of the block to secure exterior veneer finishes.
The ties secure the two pieces of 1.5 pcf density modified Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam together that makes up each block type.
The blocks are stacked tightly together at the corner locations and inter-locked end to end to the Straight Blocks to the desired wall length.
ADVANTAGE ICF 8" T-BLOCK SET
T- Blocks provides an 8 inch concrete core for the intersecting wall of a longitudinal wall.
T-Walls are used in single residential projects and extensively in multi-family construction projects in the party / demising walls.
T-Blocks are also used in forming Pilasters for point loads in commercial and residential construction.
This insulating concrete form configuration will make the construction of a T-wall more efficient by eliminating cutting and bracing in comparison to manually constructing a T-wall with only straight forms.
The Advantage ICF System is an insulating concrete form which combines two panels of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) with a patented ICF web and interlock to become the form for cast-in-place concrete.
The Advantage ICF System provides building owners with a superior, affordable method of constructing the building envelope that provides long-term energy cost savings and adds resale value to their building.
Conforms to CAN/ULC-S701-01 Type 2, CCMC Evaluation Report 13101-R.
